Students of California State University created a new Hybrid Dirt Bike

Three students from California State University, Long Beach have created a hybrid electric Dirt bike by combining a mountain bike with a dirt bike; you can run it by pedaling just like a mountain bike where as with just a twist of throttle you can keep it running like a dirt bike. The dirt bike can bike can be charged by plugging it into an electrical outlet.
The trio created the Dirt bike using around $4,000. The 90 pound dirt bike was accomplished with a carbon fiber frame and the aluminum swing arm suspension known as the Electric Motocross Bicycle (EMXB).
The Dirt bike can reach the top speed of 30 mph, however provided with a flat surface to run and lighter suspensions it can trigger 40 mph. As long as the range is concerned, when fully charged it can cover a distance of 40 miles with a wise throttle use supported with pedaling.
